'Education key to nation's bright future'

LAHORE:

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said progress in education is the foundation of a bright and prosperous future for the country and society.

Addressing an event via video link on Sunday, the minister said the world acknowledges the skills and potential of Pakistan's youth, adding that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has introduced policies to empower them.

He said the government is ensuring equal opportunities for young people across the country.

Highlighting the importance of education, Tarar said "68 per cent of Pakistan's population comprises youth, who are the true guarantee of the country's bright future".
