Kim Kardashian has confirmed she did not pass the California bar exam, sharing the news with fans on Instagram.

The reality star, entrepreneur, and actress, currently portraying a lawyer in Ryan Murphy’s Hulu series All’s Fair, remains focused on her legal ambitions despite the result.

“Well…I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV,” Kardashian wrote. “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. Photo: Instagram

Kardashian thanked her supporters and added, “Falling isn’t short of failure — it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more.” She has previously failed the California bar exam three times but passed the “baby bar” in 2021, marking a significant milestone in her studies.

The Skims founder is studying through a California apprenticeship programme rather than a traditional law school. Since 2018, she has balanced her legal education with business ventures and entertainment projects, inspired by her interest in criminal justice reform.

In a 2022 interview, she told The Hollywood Reporter, “I want to finish law school and then my ultimate goal is to open up a firm that hires formerly incarcerated people.”

Her current acting role in All’s Fair, alongside Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash, merges her entertainment career with her legal aspirations. Though critics have given the series mixed reviews, it remains a popular title on Hulu.
