.

As the government moves ahead with the 27th amendment, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited senators from the ruling coalition for a meeting to address their reservations regarding the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment.
Invitations have been sent out to all government and allied senators for a dinner hosted by the prime minister. The gathering, scheduled for 6:30 pm today (Sunday), will focus on removing concerns and ensuring unity among coalition partners before the amendment is formally taken up.
Sources said the prime minister is expected to brief the senators on the key provisions of the amendment and the government's broader legislative strategy.
