ATC adjourns bail pleas in May 9 cases

LAHORE:

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) adjourned the hearing on bail petitions filed for the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including former Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema, in multiple May 9-related cases.

Cheema is seeking bail in five separate cases registered against him on allegations of sedition and incitement to violence during the May 9 riots.

During the proceedings, the prosecution requested additional time to present the complete case record.
