Police rescue muggers from lynch mob

Two suspected robbers were caught and beaten by an angry mob in Orangi Town on Friday after allegedly snatching a mobile phone from a woman.
The assailants were injured in the attack, and their motorcycle was set ablaze by the crowd. Police arrived at the scene and, after considerable effort, managed to rescue the injured suspects from the mob and shift them to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment. According to SHO Shehbaz of Iqbal Market, initial investigations revealed that three robbers on two motorcycles had snatched a mobile phone from a woman. Bystanders chased and apprehended two of the suspects, while the third managed to escape.
The arrested suspects, identified as Saddam and Murtaza, were found in possession of two pistols. Saddam was later confirmed to be a habitual offender with a criminal record.
The third accomplice, Waqas, fled the scene and is currently being sought by police. Authorities have launched further investigations into the incident.
