Farhan Saeed to release solo album
‘Khat’ comes out on Nov 14 with Warner Music, Silent Roar

Farhan Saeed is set to release his first-ever solo album titled ‘Khat’ this month, nearly 20 years into a career that has made him one of South Asia’s most recognisable voices, according to a report on Variety.
The album will be released globally through Warner Music and Silent Roar. The lead single and title track of the Urdu- and Punjabi-language album arrives on November 14, marking the start of a staggered rollout with new songs to be released each month.
In total, the album features 10 tracks, each aiming to capture Saeed’s distinct blend of melody and emotional lyricism that has long resonated with audiences across the region, the report stated. “Music has always been something I’ve lived,” Saeed told Variety.
“I’ve been fortunate that audiences have always understood and connected with how I express myself through my songs. This album is inspired by my fans and their constant love. It’s a letter — a khat — from my heart to theirs.”
The album will also include four tracks that will receive dedicated music videos, with a different filmmaker chosen for each to add unique creative perspectives to the visual storytelling. The project, according to Variety, reflects Saeed’s ambition to expand his musical presence internationally while remaining rooted in his cultural and linguistic identity. Saeed, who first rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the popular Pakistani band ‘Jal’, has built a successful parallel career as an actor, appearing in numerous television dramas and now working on his feature film ‘Luv Di Saun’. His dual roles in music and acting have earned him wide acclaim, establishing him as one of Pakistan’s most versatile entertainers.
The partnership with Warner Music and Silent Roar signals a major step for Saeed’s global ambitions, leveraging the international distribution power of the labels to reach listeners beyond traditional South Asian markets.
