Bhad Bhabie debuts new look on Halloween, gets backlash for 'Blackfishing'

The rapper dressed up as Poison Ivy, one of Batman's rogues, however netizens zeroed in on the her skin tone

Danielle Bregoli, popularly known as Bhad Bhabie, is once again getting slammed on social media for "Blackface" and "Blackfishing" after revealing new Halloween photos on Instagram.

The rapper dressed up as the DC Comics character Poison Ivy who is one of Batman's rogues. However, netizens zeroed in on the rapper's skin which they claimed looked more similar to other coloured celebrities' such as Saweetie & Tyla, instead of Bhad Bhabie's actual tone. 

The tan was even more stark against the pale green body paint. Meanwhile, one of Bhad Bhabie's close friends Angela White formerly known as Blac Chyna came to her defense. “My friend is on fire! Her skin is glowing and she’s feeling confident. She’s absolutely slaying this look! We love you Danielle Botton!” White wrote.

Even fans agreed that the rapper's tan was too exteme, especially after the noticeable differences between the behind-the-scenes clips and the heavily edited photos.

Bhad Bhabie faced similar accusations in the past which she vehemently denied. “Who wants to be Black?! I don’t understand that! I just can’t comprehend it,” she said in an earlier video.

Since her cancer diagnosis last year, the rapper is frequently the subject of scandals involving her former partner Le Vaughn as well as nemesis Alabama Barker.
