The data of 463,000 flood victims has been verified by the relevant deputy commissioners to ensure credibility of the compensation process.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was informed that more than 98,000 ATM cards are ready, and 37 camp sites have been established in 27 flood-affected districts for the payment to victims through Bank of Punjab, including Rs50,000 in cash and rest through ATM cards.

Distribution of compensation among flood victims in 13 districts started on October 20, while the process in other districts will begin on November 3.

Each victim can withdraw up to Rs300,000 per day from ATM.

Officials stated that Rs50,000 in cash and ATM cards would be issued to 500 flood victims at each campsite.
