xQc accuses Stewie2K of Counter-Strike skin scam amid new allegations
Streamer xQc has accused CS2 pro Stewie2K of failing to return high-value skins amid growing scam claims

Félix “xQc” Lengyel has joined a growing list of figures accusing Counter-Strike 2 professional Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip of involvement in an alleged skin scam. The accusations follow a series of claims made by a trader in the CS2 community.
Stewie2K, a veteran of the Counter-Strike scene and winner of a Major championship with Cloud9, was recently accused by CS2 skins trader MitaoCatCS of failing to deliver high-value in-game items after receiving payment.
The trader alleged that he transferred funds to Stewie2K for several rare CS2 skins, including a Karambit Case Hardened (Factory New), Butterfly Doppler (Phase 1), and Vice Gloves (Well-Worn). According to MitaoCatCS, the transaction was never completed, and Stewie2K backed out of the deal without refunding the money.
The player responded to the accusations, attributing the failed trade to “technical issues” and claiming that the exchange had been “automatically cancelled by bots.” He later released a screenshot of his Steam trade log to support his defence, but fans and commentators questioned its authenticity after inconsistencies were spotted.
Stewie2K then stated during a live stream that the transaction was a loan rather than a sale, saying the agreement had been “extended to a month and a half.”
Kick streamer xQc later shared his own experience, saying he too had loaned Stewie2K several expensive skins that were not fully returned. “I just didn’t make it public at the time,” xQc said, explaining that he decided to speak out after seeing the new accusations circulate online.
The allegations have reignited discussion around Stewie2K’s past controversies in the CS community. As of now, Stewie2K has denied any wrongdoing, but the claims continue to draw significant attention from fans and players across the esports world.
