Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she plans to undergo breast surgery after welcoming her second child, candidly admitting that her body hasn’t recovered the same way it did after her first pregnancy. The No Hard Feelings star opened up about her decision during an interview with The New Yorker, in which she discussed motherhood, body image, and how life has shifted since becoming a parent of two.

The Oscar-winning actress, known for her refreshingly honest approach to fame, said she plans to get her “boobs done” in November, joking that she’ll have to stop vaping ahead of the procedure because nicotine can affect healing. “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” Lawrence explained. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”

Lawrence, who recently gave birth to her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, also discussed her attitude toward cosmetic procedures. She revealed that while she uses Botox, she avoids fillers because they “show on camera.” She hasn’t yet had a facelift but hinted that it’s on her future list, quipping, “No, but believe me, I’m gonna!”

The Hunger Games actress reflected on how her body changed after pregnancy, referencing her nude fight scene in No Hard Feelings, which she filmed after her first child. The scene sparked conversation about body confidence and postpartum recovery. Now, Lawrence said she’s set to appear nude on camera again in spring 2026, around one year postpartum. When asked if she’d still be getting the surgery if she weren’t a celebrity, she replied, “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way. But I think yes.”

Her comments have stirred debate online, with fans praising her for being open about the pressures of Hollywood beauty standards. Many highlighted how rare it is for an A-list actress to speak so frankly about plastic surgery and postpartum body struggles.

Jennifer Lawrence continues to balance motherhood with her demanding career, all while keeping her trademark humour and honesty intact. As she prepares for another major role and a new chapter of self-care, her candid confession has once again made her one of Hollywood’s most relatable stars.
