Madison Beer says Victoria’s Secret created a lighter pair of Angel wings the night before her 2025 show debut

Madison Beer has revealed that her Angel wings for the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show were redesigned just 24 hours before her performance.

Speaking on SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio with Davis Burleson, the 26-year-old singer explained that the original pair of wings, which weighed around 25 pounds, were too heavy for her headlining set.

“I had other wings that were giant and [weighed] 25 lbs. We played with them in rehearsals, and I was like, ‘They’re literally gorgeous, but I can’t perform in them. I’m going to hit a dancer off the platform, I’m so scared to do this,’” Beer recalled.

After struggling to walk and move comfortably during rehearsals, the Victoria’s Secret team created a new set overnight. “They were so lovely and they made me new ones the night before,” she said, noting that the redesigned wings were significantly lighter, weighing just five pounds.

When asked if she was allowed to keep them, Beer confirmed that the brand retained the wings but added that she might be able to keep her baby pink outfit from the show.

“Now I’m forever a part of the Victoria’s Secret Angel Week archive,” she said. “I’m going to put [the outfit] in a box in glass and light it up in my house.”

Reflecting on her experience, Beer described the moment as “so surreal” and said performing at the event fulfilled a long-held dream. “I’ve dreamed of doing this my whole life,” she told Burleson.

Beer joined Missy Elliott, TWICE, and Karol G as headliners at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, held on October 15 at Steiner Studios in New York.
