Six suspected killed in Wana

DERA ISMAIL KHAN:

Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan, killing six terrorists and injuring several others, official sources said on Thursday.

The operation was conducted in the Sholam area following credible intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists. Security forces engaged the terrorists in a brief exchange of fire, resulting in six deaths and multiple injuries among the terrorists.

After the encounter, security forces cordoned off the entire area and launched a thorough search operation to eliminate any remaining terrorist presence and ensure complete clearance of the region.
