Did 2NE1's Park Bom file a $4.5 quadrillion lawsuit against YG? Agency clarifies the truth
Park allegedly filed ₩64,272,000,000,000,000 lawsuit against former boss Yang Hyun-suk for embezzelment, fraud & more

Former 2NE1 member Park Bom caused widespread confusion this week after appearing to announce a lawsuit against YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk, demanding an extraordinary ₩64,272,000,000,000,000 — around $4.5 quadrillion — in damages.
The figure, which exceeds South Korea’s entire GDP, was shared on Bom’s Instagram late Wednesday before the post was swiftly deleted.
The now-removed image resembled a police report and included the cryptic caption “1002003004006007001000034 '64272e trillion won of money.”

The alleged complaint, appeared to show Park Bom accusing YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk of fraud and embezzlement, claiming she was never paid for her work with 2NE1 and related activities.
It reportedly stated that YG withheld all settlement details and payments, causing her significant financial and emotional distress. A seal believed to be Park Bom’s was visible at the bottom of the document.
Fans on social media reacted with disbelief, jokingly asking whether she was “suing for the world economy.” The incident quickly went viral, with speculation spreading across global K-pop communities.
In response, Bom’s current agency, D-Nation Entertainment, issued a statement clarifying that she had not filed any formal complaint against Yang Hyun-suk or YG Entertainment. “All the money that Park Bom made related to 2NE1 has been paid,” the company stated on Thursday. “She also did not file an official complaint to the police.”
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun-suk has not issued a personal statement.
