Teller, known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash, will return to host SNL on November 1 for the second time. His appearance comes ahead of the release of his new film Eternity, which hits theaters on November 26. He will be joined by singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, marking her fourth appearance as a musical guest on the show.

Nikki Glaser is scheduled to make her SNL hosting debut on November 8. The comedian is currently preparing to release a new stand-up special on Hulu in 2026 and is set to host the Golden Globes once again that same year. She will be joined by Sombr, who will also make his SNL debut. Sombr is known for his popular track “Back to Friends.”

Actor Glen Powell will host the show on November 15 for the first time, promoting his upcoming film The Running Man, which is set to premiere that same weekend. British singer Olivia Dean will serve as the musical guest, making her SNL debut as well.

The show’s 51st season began in October following the high-profile 50th anniversary celebration, which included multiple specials, a concert at Radio City Music Hall, and a three-hour televised event featuring SNL alumni. Earlier this season, hosts included Bad Bunny and Amy Poehler, while Sabrina Carpenter is scheduled to serve as both host and musical guest on October 18.

The new season also saw cast changes, with Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Devon Walker, and Michael Longfellow departing. New cast members include Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska.

SNL recently earned 30 Emmy nominations across its regular season and various 50th anniversary specials.
