Charlie Puth announces fourth album 'Whatever's Clever!', set for March 2026 release, drops new single 'Changes'

Charlie Puth has officially announced his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, set for release on March 6, 2026, via Atlantic Records.
The pop singer-songwriter unveiled the news on Thursday, October 16, along with the debut of the album’s lead single, “Changes,” which is now available on all major streaming platforms.
The upcoming record will serve as the follow-up to Puth’s 2022 self-titled album Charlie, which featured Billboard Hot 100 hits such as “Light Switch” and “Left and Right,” the latter featuring BTS member Jung Kook. Whatever’s Clever! continues Puth’s evolution as a producer and songwriter, showcasing his signature blend of sharp hooks and introspective lyrics.
To build anticipation, Puth recently launched a series of intimate performances at the iconic Blue Note jazz club in New York City. The sold-out shows featured two nightly sets and included surprise appearances by music legends Babyface and Jimmy Jam, as well as Emmy-nominated Broadway actor Anthony Ramos. The performances were part of an exclusive underplay residency aimed at connecting more closely with fans.
Tonight, Puth begins the Los Angeles leg of his Blue Note residency with another series of eight sold-out shows. Fans who can’t attend in person will have the chance to watch a livestream of the first performance at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on TikTok.
Puth's team also confirmed that pre-orders and pre-saves for Whatever’s Clever! are now available. The album promises to continue his creative momentum while offering listeners a deeper look into his personal and musical journey.
The announcement further cements Puth’s standing as one of pop’s most consistent hitmakers, known for his smooth vocals, chart-topping collaborations, and hands-on production style.
