LAHORE:

The Alhamra Arts Council buzzed with creative energy and cross-cultural dialogue on the third day of the Punjab Mass International Theatre Festival 2025, as artists, thinkers and audiences celebrated the power of performance to connect hearts and provoke thought.

The day opened with a captivating pantomime workshop titled "Crossing the Boundaries of Languages – Telling Stories with the Art of Pantomime", led by renowned German artist Christian H Schröter at Adbi Baithak, Alhamra The Mall.

Schröter introduced young performers to the expressive depth of silence, demonstrating how movement and gesture can transcend linguistic barriers to tell stories that resonate universally.

In the afternoon, a thought-provoking panel on "Social Change Through Theatre and Its Challenges" brought together veteran artists Naveed Shahzad and Dr Khalid Butt, moderated by Dr Ahmad Bilal.
