UoH faces illegal appointment probe
.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government has ordered a crackdown on what it describes as illegal appointments in public universities, directing strict enforcement of Section 17A of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act 2012, which bars teaching faculty from holding administrative posts.
Documents emerging from the University of Haripur (UoH) indicate widespread breaches of the law, with a number of faculty members serving in key administrative roles on an additional or acting basis.
Among those identified are Prof Dr Aziz Ullah (Director, Career Development Centre), Dr Shah Masaud (Director, Quality Enhancement Cell), Dr Muhammad Jhangir (Director, Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation), Dr Sami Ullah Khan (Director, Advanced Studies and Research Board), and Prof Dr Syed Moazam Nizami (Director Academics).
