Jenny Han has joined the growing list of recipients of Taylor Swift’s homemade sourdough bread. The Summer I Turned Pretty author shared the thoughtful gift from the Grammy-winning artist on her Instagram Stories on October 9.

The package featured a loaf of lemon blueberry sourdough, decorated with cat stickers and a label that read “Lemon blueberry sourdough for Jenny.” Swift also included a handwritten note that said, “Thank you for everything and congratulations,” in recognition of the third season of Han’s hit Prime Video series.Photo: Instagram

The show has long been associated with Swift’s music, which has soundtracked key emotional moments between characters Belly Conklin, Jeremiah, and Conrad.

Han has previously expressed admiration for Swift, telling E! News in 2023 that she nearly dedicated her novel It’s Not Summer Without You to the singer. “I was like, ‘These songs have really helped me get to the finish line,’” she said, crediting Swift’s Fearless album for inspiring her while writing.

Swift also recently shared her own thoughts on the series during an appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on October 7, when asked whether she supports Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah. “I’m on team The Summer I Turned Pretty,” she said. “This show has completely used my music in the most thoughtful, beautiful way for these important moments in Belly’s life. I’m here for whatever is next.”

Swift’s homemade loaves have become somewhat of a trademark gift, with talk show host Jimmy Fallon also revealing he received one during her appearance on The Tonight Show. Swift joked, “I recently have become the most annoying person that anyone knows about the topic of bread.”
