BLACKPINK's Jisoo has teamed up with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik for a new duet titled Eyes Closed, featuring the K-pop star in an elegant all-black outfit against a dramatic stage backdrop.

According to The Korea Herald, Jisoo released a striking teaser described as a "ballad duet." In the clip, a shadowed figure appears walking away - who, according to industry insiders, is Zayn himself.

With only a single teaser unveiled, anticipation is mounting for the track's full release, promising a collaboration that blends artistry, cross-cultural appeal, and the shared energy of global music fandoms.

Last month, Zayn announced a 2026 Las Vegas residency - a major milestone in his solo career and, according to organisers, the start of a landmark year for the former One Direction star. He will perform across seven nights at Dolby Live at Park MGM, with shows scheduled between 20 and 31 January 2026. Presented by Live Nation and MGM, the residency will feature a setlist spanning all four of Zayn's studio albums, showcasing his evolution as an artist.

Zayn released his fourth studio album, Room Under the Stairs, in May 2024 and launched his first solo tour, Stairway to the Sky, later that year. The tour included sold-out shows in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh before heading to North America, with performances in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, wrapping up in Mexico City earlier this year.

Most recently, he dropped Break Free, a single recorded for the Borderlands 4 video game soundtrack - a reminder of his versatility across music and pop culture.

Speculation around Zayn's involvement in Eyes Closed set social media alight, uniting two of the world's most passionate fanbases. Many fans noted that the collaboration carries a personal touch, as Zayn's daughter, Khai, is known to be a BLACKPINK fan.

Back in July, the father-daughter duo was spotted at BLACKPINK's Deadline Tour concert in New York City. The singer later posted on Instagram, thanking the group and sharing how much they enjoyed the show.
