
A terrorist belonging to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed during an attack on a Federal Constabulary (FC) check post in Lakki district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Monday night, officials said.
The attack took place at Akaka Kherokhel Pakka. Security forces swiftly retaliated, forcing the attackers to retreat. One terrorist, identified as Haroon Shah, son of Farid Shah, a resident of Shah Hasankhel village in Dera Ismail Khan, was killed in the exchange. Authorities confirmed he was linked to the outlawed TTP. His body was later handed over to relatives in Sheri Khel. The area remains under tight security.
