Tom Holland sustained a mild concussion while performing a stunt on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, leading producers to halt filming.
The decision was made after executives met to assess how the production should proceed, ultimately opting to suspend work until Holland could safely return.
The pause will last one week, with Holland confirmed to rejoin his castmates when filming resumes next week.
Insiders emphasize that the brief delay will not impact the film’s release schedule, which remains set for July 31, 2026. Studio sources describe the break as an abundance of caution rather than a major setback.
Despite the injury, Holland made a public appearance at a charity event for The Brothers Trust, which he runs with his brothers, reassuring fans that his recovery is going well.
