Casting rumors for Superman: Man of Tomorrow are fueling speculation about who will appear in the upcoming DC Universe film.

While Warner Bros. has not officially confirmed the full lineup, several stars are believed to be returning, and possible villain roles remain a major talking point.

Edi Gathegi, who debuted as Mister Terrific in James Gunn’s DCU, revealed in an interview with Variety in July 2025 that he signed a “multi-project deal” to reprise the character. Although he did not confirm his involvement in Man of Tomorrow, fans believe his return is likely. “I know that I have a multi-project deal, but the specifics of that are unknown to me,” Gathegi said. “What James is driving home is the idea that they’re never going to rush into production with scripts that aren’t ready.”

Another name circulating is Nathan Fillion, who played Guy Gardner/Green Lantern in Superman: Legacy. While his return has not been confirmed, speculation suggests he could reprise the role in Man of Tomorrow.

Isabela Merced, who appeared as Hawkgirl in earlier DCU projects, is also rumored to return, though no official announcements have been made. With James Gunn and Peter Safran emphasizing carefully planned scripts and interconnected storytelling, casting updates will likely arrive closer to production.

As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see how Superman: Man of Tomorrow will shape the future of the DCU, especially which heroes and villains will play central roles in Clark Kent’s next chapter.
