Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds may feature Mega Man as its final downloadable content collaboration, according to a recent leak.
The crossover racing title already includes several confirmed collaborations. Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, Pac-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Avatar Legends have all been announced throughout the summer. Each partnership brings themed tracks, vehicles and characters to the game, expanding its roster and settings.
The new leak comes from a Reddit post, where an image of a promotional insert allegedly included with the game revealed upcoming collaborations. While most of the content shown had already been confirmed, one logo stood out: Mega Man.
No further details were included in the insert, meaning the nature of the crossover content remains uncertain. However, based on previous additions, fans expect at least one new character, a themed vehicle, and a track inspired by the Mega Man series.
The authenticity of the leak has not been confirmed. It remains unclear whether the insert is included in all physical copies of the game or only in certain regions. Until Sega provides an official announcement, Mega Man’s role in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds should be regarded as speculation.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is scheduled to launch on September 25 2025 for Nintendo Switch, with a release planned later for Switch 2. Official confirmation of any remaining collaborations, including Mega Man, is expected closer to launch.
