Authorities and media reports have highlighted a striking detail in the ongoing investigation into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose body was discovered in singer D4vd’s impounded Tesla earlier this month. Both Rivas and D4vd have identical tattoos on their right index fingers — the word "Shhh..." — a detail that has raised questions as the case continues.
According to TMZ, Rivas’ body was found in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to singer-songwriter David Burke, known professionally as D4vd, on September 8. The vehicle had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills for over a month before being impounded. Law enforcement sources told NBC News the body was decomposed and not intact when discovered.
Celeste’s mother confirmed to TMZ that her daughter had a red-ink "Shhh..." tattoo on her right index finger and noted that her daughter had been missing since April 2024. She also revealed that Celeste had a boyfriend named David, prompting her suspicion after the Tesla discovery.
What complicates matters is that the same tattoo has been visible on D4vd’s finger in photos dated from September 2024 — months after Celeste’s disappearance. TMZ reports that earlier photos of the artist from April through August of that year do not show the tattoo, suggesting it was acquired after Celeste went missing.

The "Shhh..." tattoo, originally made popular by Rihanna in 2008, has since been adopted by other celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen, and is not considered unique.
Police have not confirmed any suspects, nor have they revealed who had been using the Tesla before it was abandoned. The vehicle was never reported stolen, and D4vd’s representatives told TMZ they are declining to comment to avoid interfering with the investigation.
