Strictly stars Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg are expecting their first baby, sharing a gender reveal video online.

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell and YouTuber Joe Sugg have announced they are expecting their first child together.

The couple, who met during the BBC show in 2018, revealed the news in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, September 14. In the sweet video, Buswell and Sugg painted a canvas before turning it around to reveal three stick figures representing themselves and their future baby. The clip, set to Elton John’s Tiny Dancer, ended with the pair confirming they are expecting a baby boy.

Buswell, 36, and Sugg, 34, captioned the post: “Our little baby boy, we cannot wait to meet you.”

The announcement sparked an outpouring of congratulations from their Strictly Come Dancing family. Fellow professional dancers Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Kevin Clifton, Johannes Radebe, Nikita Kuzmin, Nadiya Bychkova, Fleur East, and Aljaz Skorjanec were among those who shared their excitement. Even head judge Shirley Ballas commented, calling the news “beautiful.”

Buswell and Sugg reached the Strictly final in 2018 and later competed in the Christmas special, scoring a perfect 40. Their romance blossomed after the series, with Buswell moving in with Sugg in 2019. The pair now live together in a countryside home.

This will be the first child for both Buswell and Sugg, marking a new chapter in their relationship after seven years together.
