Second individual may testify against Justin Baldoni in It Ends With Us trial amid new allegations

A second accuser emerges in Justin Baldoni’s ongoing It Ends With Us trial, echoing Blake Lively’s claims.

A second person may take the stand in the upcoming It Ends With Us trial involving actor and director Justin Baldoni. People reported that the individual submitted a sworn declaration describing “repeated, negative interactions with Mr. Baldoni and his associates, including verbal abuse by Mr. Baldoni.” The trial is scheduled to begin on March 9, 2026.

The redacted declaration indicates the accuser worked with Baldoni on a project unrelated to It Ends With Us. In the statement, the individual requested Baldoni not participate in the project’s marketing or publicity and recalled a meeting with Steve Sarowitz, co-founder and co-chairman of Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios. Their claims appear similar to those raised by actress Blake Lively, who filed suit in 2024.

Lively has accused Baldoni and his colleagues, including Wayfarer CEO Jamey Heath, of fostering a hostile work environment during production and orchestrating a smear campaign against her. She also named publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel in her complaint. Baldoni has denied the accusations, alleging instead that Lively excluded him from the film’s press cycle.

The new declaration surfaces as Lively’s legal team intensifies its case. This week, they filed a motion arguing she should not bear millions in attorneys’ fees. According to Variety, the filing seeks treble damages for economic, emotional, and psychological harm, citing the Protecting Survivors from Weaponized Defamation Lawsuits Act, signed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2023.

This follows a pattern of escalating legal maneuvers, including a motion filed last month for sanctions against Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan J. Freedman. Lively’s lawyers accused Freedman and his clients of leaking damaging pretrial information to outlets such as the Daily Mail and TMZ.

Attorneys representing Baldoni have not yet commented on the new filing.
