The final medico-legal report into the mysterious death of model and actor Humaira Asghar has revealed the presence of bloodstains on her clothes, raising new questions and doubts in an already perplexing case.
The report stated that blood traces were found on Humaira’s T-shirt and trousers. However, the blood samples yielded insufficient human DNA, making it difficult to extract a conclusive identity or source.
Disturbingly, the report also confirms that only bones were recovered—the corpse was incomplete, and no soft tissue or major organs were found. Despite the skeletal remains being intact, the cause of death could not be determined due to the absence of bodily organs.
Police sources revealed a possible hurdle in the investigation such as the absence of a national blood and DNA databank. Officials noted, had there been such forensic resources available, there might have been a breakthrough in the case.

The medico-legal report also stated that no traces of intoxicants or poisons were found in the remains of the deceased, further deepening the mystery surrounding her death.
It may be recalled that the body of Humaira Asghar Ali, a 42-year-old actor and model, was found in her apartment after months of her death. The grim discovery was made when her landlord, accompanied by a court bailiff and police officers, arrived to execute a court-ordered eviction due to non-payment of rent.
Humaira had reportedly stopped paying rent in early 2024, though she had been living in the third-floor flat in Ittehad Commercial area of DHA Phase VI since 2018.
The main door of the flat was locked from inside, prompting authorities to break it open. The actor's body was found in an advanced state of decomposition.
