Borderlands 4 launch times across the world revealed

PC players will get to start playing a day early on September 11

Pop Culture & Art September 10, 2025 1 min read

The highly anticipated Borderlands 4 is almost here, bringing with it a massive array of bizarre weapons, over-the-top enemies, and fast-paced co-op action as you fight to escape a mysterious and dangerous planet as one of four brand-new Vault Hunters.

While Borderlands 3 won over many fans with its improved gunplay, others found its humor-heavy story, full of toilet jokes, a bit hit or miss. Almost six years after the release of the previous installment, Borderlands 4 is set to drop on September 12, 2025, with hopes of offering a more “grounded” narrative and tone this time around.

If you're wondering when you can dive in, Gearbox has confirmed the exact global release times for each platform. Keep in mind that the release varies by time zone and platform, so be sure to check the time for your region. And no, early access won’t be available, so you'll need to stick to the official unlock times.

Though the official release date is September 12, PC players will get to start playing a day early on September 11. Additionally, console players in PT time zones will also get an early start on September 11.

Here’s when Borderlands 4 will unlock in your region, according to Gearbox:
