In an interview with 72 Magazine, actress Julia Roberts shared the seven people she would choose for a dream night out.
Her list included her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, along with music icon Joni Mitchell, author Virginia Woolf, singer Van Morrison, her longtime high school friend Paige, who is also her daughter Hazel’s godmother, and stylist Edward Enninful.
Roberts rounded out the group with a more spiritual pick, naming Jesus among her guests.
The Oscar winner reflected on the dynamic such a group would bring, imagining the conversations they might share.
Asked what she would want to ask her guests, Roberts first joked that she’d say, “What do you think about me?” before offering two questions she’d genuinely pose: “What has been the most fulfilling aspect of your life?” and “Does anybody here like beans on toast?”
Roberts posed for the debut issue of the magazine in a cover shoot styled by Elizabeth Stewart and photographed by Craig McDean, wearing designs by Phoebe Philo and jewelry from Tiffany & Co.
The feature was written by her longtime friend and collaborator George Clooney, with whom she has starred in multiple films since Ocean’s Eleven.
