Adin Ross has alleged that Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation’s legal team used an unusual tactic to serve him legal papers.

During a recent livestream with DJ Akademiks, Ross claimed a mariachi band appeared at his home in what he described as a setup designed to lure him outside so he could be handed a deposition.

“Listen to what the lawyers did. They called a mariachi to my house,” Ross said. “They called a mariachi, like a Mexican band, to perform outside my house […] to make me want to come outside so they can serve me the paper.”

Ross said he first thought the musicians had been sent as part of a prank by viewers but later discovered through his security team that the visit was linked to legal representatives. He even shared an image from his home surveillance system that appeared to show the band outside.

The streamer linked the legal move to the aftermath of the Tory Lanez trial. Both Ross and Akademiks have been issued subpoenas, though Akademiks clarified that neither man is being sued. Instead, they are being sought as potential witnesses.

Akademiks criticised the approach, describing it as harassment. He also said Roc Nation’s lawyers had already subjected him to a seven-hour deposition but were seeking another session in federal court in New Jersey..

At present, no independent evidence has been produced to confirm Ross’s version of events. Neither Megan Thee Stallion nor Roc Nation’s legal representatives have made public statements in response.
