Taylor Swift has reimagined one of her most symbolic accessories. The singer, newly engaged to NFL player Travis Kelce, was recently photographed wearing her custom Lorraine Schwartz “T” jewel as a necklace after first debuting it as a thigh chain.

On September 2, Brittany Mahomes—wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and a close friend of Swift—shared a photo on Instagram of the pair dining in Nashville. In the image, Swift’s ruby-studded “T” necklace immediately caught attention. Designed in collaboration with Schwartz, the piece features crimson rubies set along rose gold links, ending in a charm engraved with the letter “T.” The pendant is believed to represent both Taylor and Travis, echoing other personalized accessories such as her “TNT” bracelet from Wove Made. At dinner, Swift paired the necklace with matching ruby drop earrings, likely also crafted by Schwartz, and layered it with a Jacquie Aiche snake-head Y choker valued at $11,425.
This was not the first time fans had seen the piece in action. According to Marie Claire, Swift originally commissioned the jewel for the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she wore it as a thigh-grazing chain with a Vivienne Westwood mini dress. Days later, she repurposed it as a necklace during the Super Bowl, styling it with an Alaïa bodysuit and crystal-studded shorts while supporting Kelce.
Though its price remains undisclosed, the “T” necklace has become a recurring detail in Swift’s wardrobe. From red carpets to major sporting events, and now during her engagement, the piece continues to carry both personal symbolism and standout style. Its repeated presence at milestone moments suggests it may also play a role in her upcoming bridal look.
