
The top three positions in Abbottabad Board FA/FSc were all taken up by female students overall, as well as in pre-medical, while in pre-engineering, boys took their share by capturing the top two positions.
In total, 42,357 students appeared, out of which 36,550 were declared pass with a total pass percentage of 87.15.
Overall and in the pre-medical group, Malail Khan of Peace Group of colleges, Haripur, with 1,173 marks, got first position, followed by Tooba Jamal of Peace colleges, Mansehra with 1,168 marks, got second position and third position was captured by Rayyan Ahmed of Tameer-e-Wattan College, Abbottabad with 1,162 marks.
In pre-engineering, Malik Muhammad Zakaulllah of TW College Mansehra with 1,160 marks stood first, followed by his college mate, Talha Nawaz, who got 1,156 marks. Third position was bagged by Tayyaba Bashir of TW Girls' College Abbottabad, who secured 1,150 Marks. In the Computer and General Science group, Amna Ejaz of TW Girls College Abbottabad, with 1,148 marks, got first position, second position was captured by Maham Fatima of TW G Abbottabad, who secured 1,137 marks, and the third position was jointly shared by Abdul Muqeet of Progressive College Abbottabad and Kaneez Ayesha of TWG Abbottabad, each of whom got 1,136 marks.
In the humanities group, Ayesha Naheem of GGHS Ghari Habibullah Mansehra secured 1,113 marks to get first position, Zainab Noor of GGHSC Chapra Haripur stood second with 1,069 marks, and Zoha Shahzadi of Chappra School Haripur got third position.
KP Assembly Speaker Babar Salem Swati was the chief guest at the awards ceremony. He distributed shields and trophies among the top position holders announced by the Controller of the BISE Abbottabad on Saturday. Commissioner Hazara Syed Fayaz Ali Shah, who has been given the additional post of BISE Abbottabad chairman, was also present.
