Travis Kelce is having a week that is already being called one of the biggest in both sport and celebrity culture. Less than twenty-four hours after confirming his engagement to Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs star has stepped into the fashion spotlight with a new collection in partnership with American Eagle.
The collaboration, branded AE x TK, marks the latest extension of Kelce’s lifestyle label Tru Kolors. The line features more than 90 pieces ranging in price from $14.95 to $179.95. Designs include varsity jackets, cricket sweaters, rugby polos, utility cargo pants and a number of cashmere options. The campaign frames the range as a reflection of Kelce’s distinctive style, aiming to elevate classic casualwear into bold statements of confidence and individuality.
The launch comes with significant star power. Kelce fronts the advertising alongside rising tennis talent Anna Frey, gymnast Suni Lee, basketball guard Azzi Fudd, quarterback Drew Allar, wide receiver recruit Jeremiah Smith and NBA prospect Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo and LaLa Anthony. Each is shown wearing pieces from the line, tying the sports world directly to American Eagle’s youth-driven audience.
Kelce revealed that he had been working on the project for almost a year, keeping it under wraps even as speculation swirled around his relationship with Swift. “It was an awesome opportunity to team up with an established brand where both sides were excited to truly collaborate on every decision in the design and creative process,” he explained.
The rollout will be extensive, with in-store activations, podcast tie-ins with The Ringer, and targeted integrations across fantasy sports platforms. American Eagle is leaning into the cultural buzz surrounding Kelce and Swift, who shared their engagement news on Instagram earlier this week, sparking headlines worldwide and ensuring that the collection launch arrives with maximum attention.
For American Eagle, the collaboration also comes on the heels of the much-talked-about Sydney Sweeney campaign that dominated social media this summer. With Kelce now bringing his own momentum into the fashion space, AE x TK appears set to dominate conversation as much as his engagement already has.
