RAWALPINDI:

Young artists deeply love their country and present their culture with great beauty, which highlights Pakistan's name on the global stage; therefore, we must honour and encourage art and artists, said Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi's Head of the Fine Arts Department, Dr Anila Afzal.

She was speaking as the chief guest after inaugurating a digital art exhibition organised by the Punjab Arts Council, Rawalpindi, under the Department of Information and Culture, Government of Punjab, in connection with Independence Day celebrations.

Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi Director Muhammad Shakoor stated that since its establishment, the Rawalpindi Arts Council has successfully conducted various training courses in arts and skills for youth. These courses not only promote art and provide employment opportunities but also introduce the country's culture.

The exhibition, titled "Beautiful Pakistan," featured works created by students of the Digital Art class at the Rawalpindi Arts Council, depicting the scenic landscapes of Pakistan.

A large number of people attended and appreciated the exhibition.
