An influencer couple narrowly escaped serious injury after an SUV ploughed into a Texas restaurant while they were filming a video.
Nina Santiago, better known online as NinaUnrated, and her partner Patrick Blackwood were recording themselves enjoying a meal at Piada Italian Street Food when the vehicle suddenly smashed through the window, showering the pair with glass and knocking them across the room.
In the chaos that followed, Patrick rushed to help Nina back to her feet. Both were left with cuts and bruises from the impact and later shared footage of the shocking moment on their YouTube channel.

Reflecting on the incident in their captions, the couple said the crash was a sobering reminder of life’s fragility. “This terrifying experience has made us realize just how precious life is. Tomorrow is not promised, so do what you want today, live happy, and forgive everybody,” they wrote. They added that they now feel as though they have been given “a second chance” and are committed to self-improvement and achieving their goals.
Fans quickly offered support in the comments, praising Patrick’s instinct to shield Nina during the accident. “Mad respect for the guy, first response was to protect her,” one wrote, while another added: “Thank God you came out of this and weren’t seriously hurt.”
Local media reported that Tyler police and UT Health EMS responded to the crash. The cause of the SUV’s sudden impact has not yet been confirmed, though authorities said traffic disruption followed the incident.
Despite their injuries, the couple told viewers they were grateful for the outpouring of support and urged others to “stay safe out there because life is so unexpected.”
