Sophie Turner has shared a surprising story about how she once unintentionally played a role in the breakup of a celebrity couple's engagement.
Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers this week, Turner explained that the incident happened when she was out with a friend. She recalled that her friend was excited to see an actor she admired, and while her friend encouraged her to approach him, Turner simply gave him a wave from across the room instead.
Later that evening, Turner noticed a well-known actress looking in her direction. When Turner approached the woman to express her admiration, the actress confronted her, allegedly asking: "Can you stop flirting with my fiancé?"
According to Turner, the actress then pointed to the same man she had waved at earlier. Turner admitted she was shocked, saying she did not know the man personally and had not intended to flirt. She revealed that the confrontation ultimately led to the couple ending their engagement that very night. "I didn't realise I held this power," she joked, while noting she could not disclose the couple's names to avoid getting into trouble.
