Clearing the way: TMA removes encroachments

KHANEWAL: The tehsil municipal administration has removed encroachments from several roads of the city on Monday. A special team, led by tehsil municipal officer (TMO) Mirza Muzaffar Biag and tehsil officer (TO) (regulation) Iftikhar Bangash, launched an operation against encroachers on Zaid Plaza road, Jamaia Masjid Ahl-i-Hadith, Jannat Road and Jamia Masjid Ahl-i-Sunnat. The officers said that heavy fines would be imposed on any shopkeepers who set up encroachments again.
