Lindsay Lohan is reflecting on timeless advice she received from Jamie Lee Curtis while filming the 2003 Disney hit Freaky Friday.

Now 39, Lohan opened up at the NYC screening of their upcoming sequel Freakier Friday, which hits theaters August 8.

“She said, ‘How you show up on set is how the whole crew feels. You control the energy that goes on set, so always bring your best self,’” Lohan shared, recalling Curtis’ impact during her early years in Hollywood.

The original Freaky Friday featured the two as a mother-daughter duo who magically switch bodies. Over two decades later, the sequel takes things further, with a four-way body-swap involving Lohan’s on-screen daughter and Curtis’ soon-to-be step-granddaughter.

Lohan admitted returning to the franchise was deeply emotional. “It’s very full circle for me,” she said. “It was just a really exciting day when we were first there, all together.”

Now a mother herself, Lohan shares 2-year-old son Luai with her husband, Bader Shammas, whom she married in 2022. When asked about motherhood, the Mean Girls star beamed, “All of it! There’s not one favorite part, it’s all of it.”

Curtis, 66, also reflected on Lohan’s growth. “Lindsay being grown up is something I’ve watched happen… I watched her get married, I watched her have a baby… and it’s beautiful to see.”

The reunion marks not just a cinematic comeback, but a personal milestone for both stars, who have maintained a 20-year friendship off-screen.
