PFA seals counterfeit food production units
More than 100 litres of fake juice, harmful ingredients, and over 2kg of counterfeit labels were recovered

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) cracked down on counterfeit food production in two raids in Chiniot, seizing large quantities of fake juice and adulterated milk.
In the first operation, a fake juice production unit was busted in Bhawana, where counterfeit products were being manufactured under the labels of well-known brands.
More than 100 litres of fake juice, harmful ingredients, and over 2kg of counterfeit labels were recovered.
The accused was arrested on the spot, and a case was registered at Kot Wasawa police station.
In a second raid on Jhang Road in Lalian, authorities intercepted a vehicle carrying over 100 litres of pre-mix used to produce adulterated milk.
