Football: ‘Modric deserves a raise’

LONDON: Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric deserves a raise for his fine showing in the 4-0 victory over Liverpool, according to coach Harry Redknapp. Modric scored the opener at White Hart Lane and then pulled the strings thereafter, leaving Redknapp impressed. “If he is worth £40 million then life tells you that you have to be paid accordingly doesn’t it?” said Redknapp.
