KARACHI:

The management of the movement and security of the VIP lanes at all airports across the country, including Karachi, has been handed over to the Airport Security Force (ASF), official sources confirmed on Tuesday.

They said that the ASF will now be fully responsible for the security of the VIP Lane and Lane-2 at all airports, hence the the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) and private security companies will no longer be allowed to manage or control access to these specific lanes.

The sources said the decision was taken in view of heightened security concerns.
