Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson are officially reuniting on-screen, more than two decades after their beloved roles as Joey Potter and Pacey Witter in Dawson’s Creek.
The iconic co-stars are teaming up for a brand-new film trilogy titled Happy Hours, which began production in New York City this summer, as confirmed by Deadline.
The trilogy is written and directed by Katie Holmes, who also stars alongside Jackson. The story is described as a romantic dramedy that follows two people—played by Holmes and Jackson—navigating love, career ambitions, family obligations, and the complications of reconnecting later in life.

Holmes, 46, and Jackson, 46, dated briefly during their Dawson’s Creek years but remained professional collaborators until the show’s end in 2003. Their return to the screen together marks a major moment for fans who have hoped to see them share scenes again.
With the first film underway, the second and third installments of Happy Hours are scheduled to follow closely. The trilogy promises an emotional and grounded look at adult relationships shaped by shared history, joy, and loss.
