The projected hike includes a Rs6.60 per litre increase in petrol prices and a Rs5.27 per litre (1.9%) rise in the rate of high-speed diesel (HSD).

However, prices of other petroleum products, including kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO), are expected to decline by Rs3.74 (2%) and Rs2.23 (1.3%) per litre, respectively.
