Gold prices continue to surge in local, global markets

Gold prices climbed further on Monday in both international and domestic markets, continuing an upward trend that has persisted for several sessions.
According to market reports, the international bullion rate increased by $16, bringing the price of gold to $3,372 per ounce.
Spot gold was up 0.4% at $3,367.51 per ounce, after hitting its highest level since June 23 earlier in the session.

In response to the global rise, Pakistan's domestic market also saw significant gains.
The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,600 per tola, reaching a new level of Rs359,700 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,371, now standing at Rs308,384.
