A citizen thwarted a robbery attempt in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, on Friday, forcing the muggers to flee without committing the crime.
CCTV footage of the incident shows the citizen arriving home after withdrawing cash from a bank, while two armed suspects on a motorcycle follow him to his residence. As the citizen steps out of his car and walks toward his home, one of the bandits approaches and tries to rob him at gunpoint. However, the citizen runs behind his car, pulls out a weapon, and opens fire. The bandit fires back, while his accomplice remains on the motorcycle. However, no one was injured in the exchange of fire. After the gunfight, the suspects fled the scene without looting anything.
