Tom Brady has denied claims that he called Sofia Vergara "too old" to date, amid reports of a brief summer romance between the pair. The former NFL star’s representative told People Magazine, "Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this. It is pure fiction."

Reports surfaced that Brady and Vergara had sparked a "summer romance" after being seen seated together during a gala on the luxury yacht Luminara, with insiders noting that Brady had "asked to switch seats to sit next to her at dinner."

The pair were later reported to have spent additional time together in Ibiza, although photos of them together in the location did not surface online.

Despite the speculation, sources indicated that the connection between Brady and Vergara never developed into a serious relationship.

A source told the Daily Mail, "Tom loves being single and is enjoying his summer before he starts working again, and he is not looking for a relationship."

The source added, "He's not looking to be settled down right now. He wants to just have fun. Flings and hookups are cool, but if anyone thinks they can have more with him right now, good luck."

Both Brady and Vergara have previously ended high-profile relationships, with Brady having divorced Gisele Bündchen in 2022 and Vergara finalising her divorce from Joe Manganiello in 2024.
