In a recent Glamour interview with Charlotte Tilbury, Clooney explained that she uses a “phone basket” at home to help maintain privacy and encourage real conversation.

“Creating private moments and spaces is becoming increasingly difficult… I now have a phone basket that I use to take everyone’s phones away,” she said.

Clooney, 47, and her husband George share 8-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.

The couple is known for keeping their children out of the public eye and has never released photos of them. Amal noted that becoming a mother made her more concerned about digital overexposure and unwanted intrusion.

The no-phone rule, she explained, helps foster a space where people can connect more honestly and comfortably.

“It’s important to have time with your family and friends where people feel like you can have a safe and frank exchange,” she added.

Despite past rumors of separation, the Clooneys have made several public appearances in recent months, including at the Tony Awards.

Together, the couple continues to set boundaries around technology, parenting, and public life on their own terms.
