ISLAMABAD:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of a disqualification reference against National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Khan until July 15, following the submission of a stay order by his lawyer.

A three-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), headed by Member Sindh Nisar Durrani, had convened to hear the case.

During the proceedings, Omar Ayub Khan's counsel submitted a stay order; however, Justice (retd) Ikramullah, member K-P, stated that the Peshawar High Court did not specify a new date in the stay order.
