Health threat: Four die of gastroenteritis

HYDERABAD: Three-year-old Maira died of gastroenteritis in a relief camp in Halanaka Sabzimandi. At least eight to 10 people fell ill at the camp three days ago, said the child’s father. According to the DDO and camp in-charge, Abid Saleem, these people came to the camp with the infection and the child was treated but could not be saved. Meanwhile, 30-year-old Imam Bux Jaskani in Matli, Sajjad Korai in Kapri Mori and 40-year-old Allah Wasai Khoso in Pingrio died of the disease.
