
The Pakistan Baitul Mal has reaffirmed the institution's resolve to combat poverty through inclusive policies, emphasising targeted efforts in education, healthcare and economic empowerment to uplift marginalized communities nationwide.
Talking to APP, PBM MD Senator capt (retd) Shaheen Khalid Butt reiterated the institution's transformative role in combating poverty and restoring human dignity across the country.
He highlighted that PBM's child welfare efforts include operating 160 Child Labour Rehabilitation Schools and 41 Pakistan Sweet Homes. These facilities not only provide education and emotional support but also offer children the opportunity to reclaim their childhood in safe, nurturing environments.
